Adam hopes he can use his profile to help draw attention to The Foundation's work overcoming blindness in the developing world and improving health and eyesight in rural and remote Australia.

"I am really excited about helping outback communities and towns across Australia. I hope I can raise the profile of The Foundation and what it's all about, and help raise the much needed funds to continue Fred's work," says Harvey.

The operation to overcome cataract blindness in the developing world can cost as little as $25, yet the condition is responsible for approximately 50% of cases of avoidable blindness.

"I really think it's incredible that so many thousands of people have been given their sight again, when it was so far out of their reach without The Foundation's help," says Harvey.

The Fred Hollows Foundation first started out around the dining table of Fred and Gabi Hollows. Since then the organisation has helped over one million people regain their sight. It's an extraordinary achievement that was made possible by the dreams of an ordinary man.

It's that simple truth that lies at the heart of 'Someone Else's Dream' and it's that simple truth that prompted Harvey to lend his support to making the dream come true.

I really felt inspired by Fred's story and put pen to paper hoping that my song would encourage other people to stand up and make a difference; to do what they believed in, instead of just sitting back and letting life go by," says Harvey.

"I think Fred was a real Aussie - great spirit and passion and a real 'knock about' bloke. He is proof that anyone can do what they want if they really believe and have a go." says Harvey.
