You would probably be familiar with 'Rounda' who is quick to write a story in this newsletter everytime something funny happens to me. You can call this revenge if you like, but I wanted to tell you a little fishing story about him....

I have been getting quite a few whiting in the Entrance channel just down the road from home and 'Rounda' has often said how much he would love to come, only he hates boats as he can't swim. I assured him that the entrance is so calm, that you don't even know your out in a boat and he would be safe as houses.
Last week he finally showed at the boat ramp as I was putting the tinnie in the water and announced that he was coming to show me how to catch fish. I noticed he didnā??t have a fishing rod, just an esky full of beer and when I mentioned that I donā??t drink in the boat, he said he had just put a few in to calm his nerves.
We set out and I started well, catching some nice whiting while Rounda sat in the boat washing down his nerves with the amber fluid. After a few hours I suggested that he might want to try actually getting fish instead of getting p*#sed.
It was around 3pm, the time that they feed the pelicans each day for the tourists and a large crowed had gathered when 'Rounda' stood up to try casting a line in. Well he lost his balance and fell straight in, much to the delight of the tourists.
I swear he resembled a beached whale trying to roll back into the boat but after much effort and some strange groans 'Rounda' was back on board. He was soaked from head to toe, lost his wallet and ruined his mobil phone. At least the tourists got some nice photos and a good laugh.
Did I tell you I got some nice whiting too!
