G'day everyone and thanks for taking the time to read my poor attempt at journalism once again. It's hard to believe that we are into April already but I guess time waits for no one. The kids have got the shits about going back to school after the Easter holidays but they got looked after by the Easter bunny. Its only another 9 weeks and they will be on mid year break already!

They will be putting up Chrissie decorations before I know it!
On the other hand Conway, Leylah and the boss are all doing really well. Miss Kathy and I went and saw Joe Nichols last month and he was fantastic. Then she went to see Taylor Swift a week later ...It's a hard life!
The new album is coming along well and so far we have locked in some great duet partners. The new CD will be called "Reminiscing with Friends" and as the title suggests, it's a duets album. Sony want to release it in July so I'll keep you posted. We are recording some classic country songs like `Jackson' and `Islands in the Stream' but also some main stream tunes and giving them a country flavour.
I am really looking forward to singing with some of my favourite singers. I have enough songs to do another 'Adam Harvey solo album' but I think it's time to do something a little different, and then I'll release my own album at the end of the year.
Unfortunately the Nashville trip has been cancelled this June as times are too hard for most folks to justify an American trip. Beccy Cole is still hosting a trip to `Schoolies week for hillbillies' and you can bet it will be a great holiday in music city with Beccy. On the good side, the Harvey family are heading across to Norfolk Island for the country festival. That happens each year in May and the last time I played there we had a ball. I've also been approached about singing on a country music cruise next year and the kids are already getting excited about that idea. If you've always wanted to go on a cruise, start saving your dollars and come with the Harvey's!
On the touring front I'm just doing the washing from a few weeks in W.A, which was great as I haven't been over there on tour for a while. The Sunny Cowgirls did the show too and although I hadn't worked with them before, they are going very well and the crowds loved them at the shows. (You can imagine how happy Miss Kathy was when I mentioned that I was going on the road with two young blonde cowgirls!)
I am still trying to lock Troy Cassar Daley into some touring later this year so I'll keep you up to date, but I did hear Troy's new album "I Love This place" and it's well worth a listen.
Thanks to everyone who came up and said hi at Lake Charliegrarke and the Bunyip festival. They are two of my favourites and once again we had a great time and caught up with alot of old friends. Joy (the Bunyip festival Organiser ) said it may be the last one which is a real shame, but I'm glad I could be there for it. Whittlesea was cancelled this year because of the bushfires, but hopefully they can keep flying the country music flag in years to come.
Once again thanks for your support take care.
I'll see you on the road soon.
Adam.
